Introduction to e-KYC :
In India,customer needs to submit identity & address documents to several agencies to get the work done & this process of customer identification is known as “Know Your Customer”
Aadhaar based e-KYC eliminates complex,time consuming operations and provides agencies an electronic, paper-less KYC experience. By Using Aadhaar based e-KYC Service, agencies can carry electronic identity verification using biometrics or OTP- One Time Password (based on their choice) and obtain a digitally signed (by UIDAI) electronic identity document for storing within their system.
BioEnable’s Aadhaar Based e-KYC Application Overview:
BioEnable has launched an application for Aadhaar based e-KYC Service. Application makes entire process simpler and cost effective for both customers and agencies.The application is based on Biometric (fingerprint) authentication.As per the STQC (Standardization, Testing and Quality Certification),India guidelines the fingerprint scanner used for Aadhaar based e-KYC Service must be STQC certified so the proposed scanner is STQC Certified namely, eNBioScan-C1.
